Down to the final four

Hello! My last fall term of undergraduate life has gone by so quickly it amazes me: I'm back at home for the holidays, and I'm still pinching myself. Part of the reason I've been away so often is because I've been interviewing at different dental schools in the US: six different weekends, in fact! I finally decided last night that I'd be going to UPenn, so here's to four more years of schooling!

My travels to these interviews have taken me on some ridiculously tiny planes. This has not always been great because I have a huge plane phobia, and that is made ten times worse by finding out that I will be spending two hours in the air in a ten row propeller plane. I also find it unsettling when I need to walk onto the tarmack to board the plane. Gulp.
My favourite tiny plane story is when I was flying back from Indiana. Before we left the gate, the flight attendant had one request: could a volunteer move to row 11 to balance out the plane? Like I said, still pinching myself.

Anyway, mental freakouts about interview prep and finishing assignments are pretty much over now, so expect some awesome food and knitting posts in the near future!

PS: I discovered Qdoba on one of my trips. There is a Qdoba across the street from the Penn dental building. Mmmm.
